The ClinicalModelling project is advancing toward a crucial phase focused on embedding video modelling into medical residencies and nursing internships sustainably and widely. Following successful pilot implementations, a strategic roadmap outlines a series of collaborative events to foster adoption, scale-up, and long-term impact.

National Roundtables:
Between May and June 2025, Higher Education Institutions from the consortium (ESSSM, UL, UJ, and USC) will lead two rounds of national roundtables in each partner country. These sessions will gather medical and nursing educators, hospital professionals, students, policymakers, professional associations, and EdTech experts to:
- Present preliminary pilot results and gather feedback
- Brainstorm strategies to embed video modelling in education and practice
- Identify challenges, good practices, and sustainability pathways
Each roundtable is designed to build on the previous discussions, with a focus on validating findings and consolidating recommendations for scalability.
International Meetings:
Complementing the national discussions, two international meetings will be held online in May and September 2025, coordinated by INOVA+. These will include external experts specialized in healthcare education, video-based learning, and policy development. The goals are to:
- Refine and finalise the sustainability and exploitation plan based on national feedback
- Address barriers to adoption and explore strategies for wider dissemination across countries and organisations
- Engage ethical oversight representatives to ensure compliance and responsible use

Looking Forward:
Through these inclusive and strategic activities, ClinicalModelling aims to secure video modelling as a mainstream pedagogical tool in healthcare education, enhancing continuous professional development and ultimately improving patient care.
This roadmap represents a vital step toward sustaining innovation beyond the project’s lifetime and spreading its benefits across the European healthcare education landscape.
