The ClinicalModelling project is pleased to announce the release of the Manual on Using Smart Glasses in Clinical Practice. This manual provides healthcare professionals with practical guidance on integrating smart glasses into clinical settings, particularly during surgical procedures. Created to support ongoing training and enhance teamwork, the manual covers best practices, ethical standards, and safety protocols for using smart glasses to capture and edit instructional videos in real-world clinical environments.
These instructional videos, captured by surgeons and scrub nurses during surgeries, serve as invaluable resources for both initial training and ongoing professional development. Through adherence to the guidelines provided, healthcare teams can leverage the potential of smart glasses while ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Additional language versions (Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, and Slovenian) will be available soon.
